Ernesto Arellano

 

He was born in Buenos Aires on June 17, 1971.

He studied ceramics, drawing and painting since he was 11 years old in private workshops. At age 12 he entered the school with an artistic orientation "Fernando Fader"and also held the Pre-Columbian Art Seminar of the Art History Career, at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Buenos Aires.

In 2000 he obtained the Scholarship for the Artistic Creation of the National Fund of the Arts. That same year he is a guest artist for the realization of works at the Superior School of Fine Arts, Ernesto de la Cárcova. Between 2003 and 2008 he is curator of La Línea Joven Plástica, Culture Fund of the Ministry of Culture of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. Recoleta Cultural Center. In 2011 he carried out the Karel Project Facility in Tecnópolis. Sculpture Ceramics, video installation and electronic interactive devices of national design and manufacture. In 2010 he obtained the First Prize for Acquisition in Ceramic Art from the National Salon of Visual Arts and in 2012 the Grand Prize Acquisition in that contest. Performs Ceramic Works Seminars for public spaces in the Faculty of Ceramics of the Universidad de Cuyo "Fernando Arranz" Mendoza. He founded the Splash in Vitro group (2013).
